Annika Koessler

I am a second-year physics major at UCSB. I was born and raised in the beautiful desert town of Tucson, Arizona. My current research interests include integrated nonlinear photonics and quantum optics. Outside of school I enjoy mountain biking, piano improv, painting, and am part of the UCSB rowing team!

Recommended Reading: Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is one of my favorites and very thought provoking. If you want a fun read, I’d suggest Mort by Terry Pratchett.
