Open Postdoc Positions: Nonlinear Integrated Quantum Photonics

The Quantum Photonics Lab at UCSB is hiring postdoctoral scholars to join the team. The successful candidates will develop integrated photonic devices for multi-photon entanglement and squeezing for applications in quantum computing, networking, and sensing. The research project will involve III-V heterogeneous integrated photonic device fabrication in UCSB’s 12,000 ft2 class-100 cleanroom, integrated photonic device modeling and design, experimental characterization, and quantum measurements/demonstrations. Successful candidates will work with a team of graduate students, travel to conferences, work closely with a collaborative multi-institute team, and participate in program reviews.

Location: Santa Barbara, California

Anticipated Start: Review of applications will begin April 1, 2024, with an anticipated start date between July 1 and September 1. The position will remain open until filled.
